Garden Veil is the softly floral facial oil in The Mountain Apothecary Veil Collection, created for those who want botanical moisture, softness, and a slightly richer feel than Mountain Veil.

Each bottle begins with whole white rose, white lavender, and lemon balm, grown organically or responsibly wildcrafted here on our mountain in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia by our Master Herbalist.

The botanicals are slowly infused using our traditional seven-hour slow-heat process, then blended with thoughtfully selected facial oils to create a soft, silky finish.

There are no essential oils and no added fragrance.

The delicate aroma comes only from the whole botanicals and natural oils themselves.

Botanical Profile

White Rose
Traditionally valued in botanical beauty preparations and chosen for its soft, refined character.

White Lavender
A rare pale lavender traditionally associated with gentle botanical preparations and used here as a whole plant rather than concentrated essential oil.

Lemon Balm
A gentle aromatic herb traditionally incorporated into botanical skin preparations and selected for its fresh herbal character.

Apricot Kernel Oil
A soft, emollient botanical oil that gives the formula a smooth, comfortable feel.

Jojoba Oil
A lightweight, silky oil widely used in facial-care formulations.

Squalane
A lightweight emollient that helps soften and condition the feel of the skin.

Rosehip Oil
A richly colored botanical oil commonly used in facial-care preparations.

Red Raspberry Seed Oil
A lightweight botanical oil used to round out the facial-oil blend.

Vitamin E / Mixed Tocopherols
Included as an antioxidant to help protect the quality of the carrier oils.

From the Mountain

The Mountain Apothecary is built around a simple principle: whenever possible, our botanicals should begin where the products themselves are made.

The white rose, white lavender, lemon balm, and other botanicals used in our preparations are grown organically here on our mountain or responsibly wildcrafted in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia, then carefully harvested and dried for use in our small-batch formulations.

Each batch is prepared by our Master Herbalist using whole botanicals, thoughtfully selected oils, gentle heat, and time.

Because we work with real plants, natural differences in color and aroma may occur from one harvest and batch to another.

We consider those variations part of genuine small-batch botanical work.

How to Use

After cleansing, place 2–4 drops into clean fingertips and gently press or massage into slightly damp skin.

Use alone or as the final step in your facial-care routine.

Garden Veil may be used morning or evening, though its softly rich feel makes it especially lovely as part of an evening routine.

A little goes a long way.
