Meadow Veil — Botanical Facial Oil
Meadow Veil — Botanical Facial Oil
1 fl oz / 30 mL Botanical Facial Oil
The Veil Collection
Rich. Botanical. Comforting.
Meadow Veil is the richest facial oil in The Mountain Apothecary Veil Collection, created for skin that prefers a more substantial botanical oil, especially during cooler or drier seasons.
Each bottle begins with whole calendula, plantain, and chickweed, grown organically or responsibly wildcrafted here on our mountain in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia by our Master Herbalist.
The botanicals are slowly infused using our traditional seven-hour slow-heat process, then blended with thoughtfully selected facial oils to create a rich, silky finish.
There are no essential oils and no added fragrance.
The natural aroma comes only from the whole botanicals and oils themselves.

The Oil Blend
Meadow Veil combines:
High-Oleic Sunflower Oil
A smooth, emollient botanical oil that provides a rich foundation for the infusion.
Jojoba Oil
A silky, lightweight oil that helps balance the richer oils in the formula.
Avocado Oil
A fuller-bodied botanical oil that gives Meadow Veil its more substantial feel.
Argan Oil
A prized facial-care oil that contributes to the smooth, luxurious character of the blend.
Squalane
A lightweight emollient that helps keep the richer formula silky and elegant on the skin.
Vitamin E / Mixed Tocopherols
Included as an antioxidant to help protect the quality of the carrier oils.
From the Mountain
The Mountain Apothecary is built around a simple principle: whenever possible, our botanicals should begin where the products themselves are made.
The calendula, plantain, chickweed, and other botanicals used in our preparations are grown organically here on our mountain or responsibly wildcrafted in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia, then carefully harvested and dried for use in our small-batch formulations.
Each batch is prepared by our Master Herbalist using whole botanicals, thoughtfully selected oils, gentle heat, and time.
Because we work with real plants, natural differences in color and aroma may occur from one harvest and batch to another.
We consider those variations part of genuine small-batch botanical work.
How to Use
After cleansing, place 2–4 drops into clean fingertips and gently press or massage into slightly damp skin.
Use alone or as the final step in your facial-care routine.
Because Meadow Veil is the richest oil in the collection, begin with just a few drops and add more only if needed.
It is especially well suited to evening facial care and seasons when skin tends to feel drier.
A little goes a long way.
