Mountain Mist Collection 6 Colorful Layer Project Hatching Eggs A Blue Ridge-Inspired Rainbow Layer Collection Inspired by the soft colors of morning fog drifting through the Blue Ridge Mountains. The Mountain Mist Collection is a curated assortment of six hatching eggs from our colorful layer projects at The Robertson Rottie Ranch in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia. This collection was developed around the natural colors of the mountains we call home: Soft blues Misty gray tones Mossy greens Earthy olives Warm tans Rich chocolate browns Rather than focusing on exhibition Standards of Perfection, our project flock is selectively paired for colorful egg genetics, varied feather characteristics, backyard-flock diversity, and unique homestead hatch outcomes. These are mixed-project hatching eggs rather than breed-specific or exhibition-line eggs. Genetics May Include Ameraucana lines Cream Legbar lines Olive Egger projects Whiting True Blue lines Blue Copper and Black Copper Marans lines Blue Ridge True Blue project birds Additional colorful-layer genetics from our ranch flock Depending on the individual pairing, offspring may inherit: Blue, green, olive, sage, tan, brown, or chocolate egg genetics Varied feather colors and patterns Muffed or bearded facial traits Different comb types Unique backyard-flock characteristics Because this is a mixed breeding project, the parentage, sex, appearance, personality, and future egg color of any individual chick cannot be predicted or guaranteed. References to egg-color genetics describe the colors that mature female offspring may potentially lay. They do not guarantee that an individual egg will hatch, that a chick will be female, or that every mature hen will lay a particular color.
