Blue Ridge True Blue is a carefully selected color-layer breeding project at The Robertson Rottie Ranch in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia. This breeding group was assembled to emphasize blue egg genetics, interesting feather characteristics, and colorful backyard-flock diversity.

Our current Blue Ridge True Blue breeding group includes:

These are project-bred hatching eggs rather than breed-specific or exhibition-line eggs. Because genetics can combine in many ways, the parentage, sex, appearance, and future egg color of any individual chick cannot be predicted or guaranteed.

References to blue egg genetics describe the colors that mature female offspring may potentially lay. They do not guarantee that an individual egg will hatch, that a chick will be female, or that every mature hen will lay the same shade of blue.

Important Information About Shipped Hatching Eggs

Fertility within our breeding flock is monitored regularly. However, individual egg fertility and hatch results can be affected by flock conditions, shipping, carrier handling, incubation practices, humidity, temperature, and incubator calibration.

For these reasons, we cannot guarantee the fertility or hatch rate of any individual shipped egg.

Refunds are not provided based on fertility or hatch results. If The Robertson Rottie Ranch is unable to fulfill your order or makes an error with your shipment, we will address the issue in accordance with our Return & Refund Policy.

Please review our Shipping Policy and Return & Refund Policy before purchasing. By ordering shipped hatching eggs, you acknowledge that shipping and incubation involve circumstances outside the breeder’s control.

Shipping

Orders are generally processed within 1–5 business days and normally ship Monday through Wednesday to reduce the likelihood of weekend carrier delays.

Orders ship through USPS Priority Mail using insulated packaging and individually protected eggs. Tracking information will be provided when your order ships.

Hatching eggs are available for purchase only when we are actively accepting and fulfilling egg orders. If seasonal temperatures, severe weather, or flock production require us to pause shipping, this listing will be marked unavailable until ordering resumes.
