Vernalis is inspired by the spring equinox, when light and darkness come briefly into balance and the landscape begins its unmistakable return to green.
Created as part of The Seasonal Turning Collection, Vernalis reflects equilibrium, renewal, fresh movement, and the vigorous emergence of spring.
March 21 marks the seasonal turning point when winter loosens its hold and the year begins to move visibly outward again. Vernalis was created for that moment of balance between what has been resting and what is ready to grow.
Its botanical infusion combines violet leaf, cleavers, plantain leaf, and red clover blossom, creating a fresh, green profile with a little more body than First Light while remaining distinctly springlike.
Each bottle begins with botanicals grown organically here on our mountain or responsibly wildcrafted in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia, then carefully harvested, dried, and prepared by our Master Herbalist.
The botanicals are slowly infused using our traditional seven-hour slow-heat process, allowing time and gentle warmth to become part of the preparation.
There are no essential oils and no added fragrance.
What remains is the natural character of the whole botanicals themselves: green, fresh, earthy, and newly emerging.

The violet, cleavers, plantain, red clover, and other botanicals used throughout our ritual collections are grown organically here on our mountain or responsibly wildcrafted in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia.
They are carefully harvested, dried, and preserved until they are ready for infusion.
Each batch is prepared by our Master Herbalist using whole botanicals, thoughtfully selected oils, gentle heat, and time.
Because we work with real plants, natural differences in color, aroma, and appearance may occur from one harvest and batch to another.
We consider those variations part of genuine small-batch botanical work.
The Seven-Hour Infusion
Every Vernalis batch undergoes a seven-hour slow-heat botanical infusion.
The process is deliberately simple:
Whole botanicals.
Carefully selected oils.
Gentle heat.
Seven hours.
Time and intention.
There are faster ways to make an oil.
We deliberately choose the slower one.
How to Use
Apply a small amount to the hands or pulse points before meditation, prayer, journaling, reflection, intention setting, or seasonal ritual.
Vernalis may also be used to anoint personal objects, candles, written intentions, altar items, keepsakes, or other meaningful objects connected with balance, renewal, and spring growth.
A single drop may be enough for many ritual uses.
