Wintergreen Mint Live Plant Cutting - Spring Preorder
Wintergreen Mint Live Plant Cutting
Spring Preorder
Mentha sp.
Reserve a fresh Wintergreen Mint cutting for the upcoming growing season.
Our Wintergreen Mint is available for spring preorder when fresh cuttings are not currently being harvested for immediate shipment. Ordering now reserves your place for new spring growth once the plants are actively growing again and conditions are suitable for safely shipping live plant material.
Wintergreen Mint is appreciated for its aromatic foliage, refreshing character, vigorous growth, and place in tea gardens, culinary herb collections, containers, raised beds, and specialty mint gardens.
Each cutting will be freshly harvested from healthy plants grown at our Blue Ridge Mountain homestead and carefully prepared for shipment once spring growth is ready.
This Is a Preorder
This listing is for future spring shipment. It is not currently available for immediate shipping.
Preorders will be fulfilled in the order they are received once:
- Healthy spring growth is established
- Plants are large enough to safely harvest
- Temperatures are appropriate for shipping live cuttings
- Weather and carrier conditions allow us to ship without unnecessary risk to the plants
Because these are living plants, an exact shipping date cannot be guaranteed in advance.
We will begin fulfilling orders as soon as spring growth and shipping conditions allow.
What You Will Receive
- One fresh, unrooted Wintergreen Mint cutting
- Approximately 6–8 inches long
- One rockwool rooting cube
- Moisture-protective packaging for transit
- Basic care and propagation instructions
This listing is for an unrooted plant cutting, not an established rooted plant.
Because each cutting is naturally grown and individually harvested, size, branching, leaf shape, color, fragrance, and overall appearance may vary.

Important: Care Immediately After Delivery
When your preorder ships, please unpack your cutting immediately after delivery and remove all shipping materials.
Place the lower portion of the stem in clean, room-temperature water for a minimum of 48 hours. Keep all leaves above the waterline, with only the lower stem and at least one propagation node submerged.
This recovery period allows the cutting to rehydrate and recover from normal shipping stress before rooting begins.
During the recovery period:
- Keep the cutting in bright, indirect light
- Keep it away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures
- Replace the water if it becomes cloudy
- Do not add fertilizer
- Do not allow leaves to remain submerged
Temporary wilting or softness can occur after shipping and does not necessarily indicate damage.
Rooting Your Cutting
After the initial 48-hour recovery period, continue rooting using either of these methods:
- Keep the stem and propagation node in clean water
- Place the stem and propagation node into the included pre-soaked rockwool cube supplied with water
Keep leaves above the waterline and do not allow the rockwool cube to dry out.
Provide bright, indirect light while roots develop.
Do not transfer the cutting directly into soil immediately after delivery.
Allow the cutting to remain in water or water-supplied rockwool until several healthy roots have formed and are at least approximately two inches long before transplanting into an appropriate potting mix.
Rooting time varies according to temperature, light, water quality, plant condition, and other growing conditions.
Shipping Your Preorder
Preorders will begin shipping when spring growth and weather conditions allow safe harvesting and shipment.
Once fulfillment begins, live plant orders are generally processed within 1–5 business days and normally ship Monday through Wednesday to reduce the likelihood of weekend carrier delays.
Tracking information will be provided when your order ships.
Because these are living plants, shipment may be delayed during unusually cold temperatures, severe weather, or other conditions that could place the cutting at unnecessary risk.
Customers are responsible for confirming that this plant can legally be shipped to and grown at their destination.
Important Information About Live Cuttings
This product is a living, unrooted plant cutting.
Successful rooting and future growth depend on shipping conditions, temperature, handling, propagation method, moisture, light, climate, and ongoing care.
We carefully select and package each cutting, but rooting success and future plant performance cannot be guaranteed.
If The Robertson Rottie Ranch makes an error with your order or is unable to fulfill it, the issue will be handled in accordance with our Return & Refund Policy.
