First Harvest is inspired by the early harvest season, when the first grains, fruits, berries, and garden crops begin to come in and the work of the growing season starts to become tangible.
Created as part of The Seasonal Turning Collection, First Harvest reflects gratitude, nourishment, effort made visible, and the transition from the brightness of peak summer toward a more grounded season of gathering.
August 1 marks the beginning of the harvest cycle rather than its completion. The fields are still producing, the gardens are still growing, and there is more work ahead, but this is the moment when the season begins to give something back.
Its botanical infusion combines fully dried milky oat tops, blackberry leaf, raspberry leaf, and rosemary, creating a profile that feels gathered, field-grown, substantial, and distinctly late summer.
Each bottle begins with botanicals grown organically here on our mountain or responsibly wildcrafted in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia, then carefully harvested, dried, and prepared by our Master Herbalist.
The botanicals are slowly infused using our traditional seven-hour slow-heat process, allowing time and gentle warmth to become part of the preparation.
There are no essential oils and no added fragrance.
What remains is the natural character of the whole botanicals themselves: earthy, green, herbaceous, substantial, and grounded in the harvest season.

The oats, blackberry, raspberry, rosemary, and other botanicals used throughout our ritual collections are grown organically here on our mountain or responsibly wildcrafted in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia.
They are carefully harvested, fully dried, and preserved until they are ready for infusion.
Each batch is prepared by our Master Herbalist using whole botanicals, thoughtfully selected oils, gentle heat, and time.
Because we work with real plants, natural differences in color, aroma, and appearance may occur from one harvest and batch to another.
We consider those variations part of genuine small-batch botanical work.
The Seven-Hour Infusion
Every First Harvest batch undergoes a seven-hour slow-heat botanical infusion.
The process is deliberately simple:
Whole botanicals.
Carefully selected oils.
Gentle heat.
Seven hours.
Time and intention.
There are faster ways to make an oil.
We deliberately choose the slower one.
How to Use
Apply a small amount to the hands or pulse points before meditation, prayer, journaling, gratitude work, reflection, intention setting, or seasonal ritual.
First Harvest may also be used to anoint personal objects, candles, written intentions, altar items, keepsakes, harvest baskets, or other meaningful objects connected with gratitude, nourishment, abundance, and continued growth.
