Golden Petal is a rich, handcrafted botanical lip balm inspired by the golden calendula flowers growing here on our Mountain in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia.

Whole dried calendula blossoms are slowly infused into high-oleic sunflower oil using gentle heat for seven hours, following the time-honored methods of the traditional apothecary.

This golden botanical infusion is blended with jojoba oil, creamy shea butter, and beeswax to create a smooth, conditioning balm that helps soften dry-feeling lips while leaving behind a comfortable, protective-feeling layer.

The Botanicals & Their Purpose

• Calendula: Traditionally treasured in herbal skincare, selected for its gentle, skin-conditioning qualities.

• High-Oleic Sunflower Oil: Rich in emollient fatty acids that help soften and condition lips.

• Jojoba Oil: A naturally occurring liquid wax that provides a smooth, silky feel.

• Shea Butter: Adds creamy richness and helps condition dry lips.

• Beeswax: Gives the balm structure and helps retain moisture.
