Source is the foundation of the Sacred Source Collection, a seven-oil Ritual Oil collection created around themes of wholeness, sacred intention, reflection, and connection.

Each bottle begins with whole botanicals grown organically or responsibly wildcrafted here on our mountain in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia by our Master Herbalist.

Gardenia, jasmine, and white lavender are carefully harvested, dried, measured, and slowly infused into thoughtfully selected carrier oils using gentle heat for seven unhurried hours.

This is not a blend of carrier oils with fragrance added afterward.

Source follows an old apothecary-style process centered around whole botanicals, carefully selected oils, gentle heat, intention, and time.

There are no essential oils and no added fragrance.

The natural character of Source comes from the plants themselves.

Its aroma may be delicate, botanical, and subtly different from one harvest to the next, because real plants have apparently declined to become standardized factory components.

The carrier-oil blend was selected to provide a refined botanical base for the infusion while allowing the character of the whole plants to remain central to the finished oil.

From the Mountain

The Mountain Apothecary is built around a simple principle: whenever possible, our botanicals should begin where the products themselves are made.

The botanicals used throughout our Ritual Oil collections are grown organically here on our mountain or responsibly wildcrafted in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia, then carefully harvested, dried, and preserved until they are ready for infusion.

Each batch is prepared by our Master Herbalist using traditional apothecary principles and our seven-hour slow-heat infusion process.

Working with whole botanicals means every harvest is a little different.

Color may vary. Aroma may shift subtly. The plants themselves may reflect the season in which they were grown and gathered.

We consider those natural variations part of the character of genuine small-batch botanical work.

The Seven-Hour Infusion

Every bottle of Source undergoes a seven-hour slow-heat botanical infusion.

Whole dried botanicals remain in contact with the carrier oils through seven unhurried hours of gentle warmth, allowing the plants and oils time to slowly come together rather than relying on concentrated fragrance or essential oils.

The seven-hour process is also intentional.

Across many spiritual traditions, the number seven has long been associated with completion, sacred order, reflection, spiritual depth, and movement toward wholeness.

Within the Sacred Source Collection, that symbolism is woven into the preparation itself.

The Collection as a Journey

The Sacred Source Collection was created as more than a group of seven oils.

It is a journey.

The path begins with Source, the place of origin, remembrance, and return.

From there, Lumina turns toward illumination, truth, and higher awareness.

Grace invites compassion, surrender, and the willingness to receive.

Puritas brings the journey toward purity, clearing, and simplicity.

From that clearer place comes Concordia, centered around harmony, alignment, and peace.

Reverence deepens the journey through devotion, gratitude, and sacred remembrance.

Finally, Sanctus brings the path toward consecration, dedication, and sacred purpose.

The oils may be used individually according to the intention that speaks to you in a particular moment or experienced together as a seven-part ritual journey.

There is no required pace.

You may move through the collection in order, remain with one oil for days or weeks, return to an earlier stage, or simply choose the oil that feels most appropriate for the moment.

The journey does not need to be linear.

Why Seven?

Seven has long carried symbolic significance across spiritual and sacred traditions, particularly around themes of completion, reflection, order, and spiritual depth.

That symbolism is woven into the Sacred Source Collection in two ways:
