The Mountain Apothecary is rooted in practical botanical care, traditional herbalism, and the plants that grow in and around the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia.
Our collection begins with botanical body care, including herbal-infused body oils, skin and hair preparations, seasonal formulations, and small-batch products created with whole herbs and carefully selected carrier oils. Each formula is designed around the character of the plants themselves, with an emphasis on thoughtful ingredients, simple preparations, and old-world apothecary tradition.
You’ll also find fresh herb cuttings for propagation and garden growing, along with single loose-leaf herbs and herbal teas for those who prefer to work directly with the plants themselves. Many of these botanicals are grown here on the mountain, with others responsibly sourced when needed.
Rounding out the collection are our botanical ritual oils, created in small batches with whole herbs and unique carrier-oil blends for reflection, intention, seasonal practice, and personal ritual.
